David Bergman is the author or editor of more than a dozen books, including Gaiety Transfigured. He is the winner of the Lambda Literary Award for co-editing Men on Men 2000. His most recent book of poetry is Heroic Measures. With Joan Larkin, he edits the book series Living Out: Gay & Lesbian Autobiography for The University of Wisconsin Press. "Honey" is his first published piece of fiction.
Skip Brushaber resides in Portland, Maine, where he as a case manager in a rehabilitation hospital. He holds a Master's in American Studies in Film/GLBT Studies. His writing is included in the Painted Leaf Press anthology Mama's Boy: Gay Men Write about Their Mothers. Skip's a Bear-lover from way back.
Trevor J. Callahan, Jr.'s writing has appeared in numerous publications, including the magazines Men, Freshmen, Unzipped Monthly, Beau, In Touch For Men, Indulge, American Bear, and Cruisin', and the anthologies Slow Grind, Men for All Seasons, Twinkie Tales, and Cybersex. He currently resides in southern New England.
Dale Chase has been writing erotic fiction for several years and has been published in Men, Freshmen, In Touch, and Indulge, as well as Alyson's Friction 2, 3, 4, and 5 anthologies, plus their Twink anthology. One of his stories has been acquired by an independent filmmaker and will soon reach the big screen.
Bob Condron is the author of two published novels, Easy Money and the Bear-focused Sweating It Out. His short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, including Bar Stories and Slow Grind. His work as a writer/director for fringe and community theatre has been performed in the U.K. and U.S.A. with notable success. He works and lives with his Irish husbear, Tommy, in Germany.
Jess Davis is the pen name of a deviant beardyke who is frequently known to scandalize her contemporaries. Her work has appeared in The Second Coming and Hustler magazine, and she's the perpetrator of www.doesitquack.com. Davis (or whatever her name is) dedicates this to her beautiful, brilliant, and completely twisted wife.
Ben Ensyde is the pen name of a poet whose writing has appeared in over 60 periodicals, including Chelsea, Many Mountains Moving, and Barrow Street. He has also penned a humor manuscript titled Bitch Rants at the Crossroads of a New Millennium: A Pseudo-Hysterical HIS-Storical Memoir.
Lance Gap is the nom de plume of an Oregon poet, angler, and pornographer who was a hospice volunteer for four years.
Adam Gawron grew up in the Northeast but is a longtime resident of Texas, where he pursues a career in the arts. Although he has written professionally, this is his first published piece of fiction.

Ron Suresha has been involved with Bear communities since the late '80s, when he lived in San Francisco with one of the creators of Bear magazine, and created signs, graphics, and promotions for the Bear-bar Lone Star Saloon. Since leaving the San Francisco Bay area, he has been a member of the Chesapeake Bay Bears, New England Bears, Rhode Island Grizzlies, Motor City Bears, and Bears of San Francisco. He acted as a judge for the International Mr. Bear 2000 contest in San Francisco.
His interview column for American Bear magazine has featured discussions with comedian Bruce Vilanch, NH State Senator Sen. Rick Trombly, artist Tim Barela, "Survivor" Rich Hatch, and authors Eric Rofes, David Bergman, Mark Thompson, Richard Labonté, and Michael Bronski. He has also written for The Gay & Lesbian Review, White Crane Journal, Art & Understanding, Southern Voice, Lambda Book Report, Gay Community News, and Visionary, and the anthologies The Bear Book, Bear Book 2, My First Time 2, Quickies 2, and Bar Stories.
